San Diego, CA - The San Diego Chargers were able to get some business out of the way prior to their upcoming training camp, with the team agreeing to terms with running back Danny Woodhead on a two-year contract extension through the 2016 season. Woodhead, whose 76 receptions in 2013 were the second-most by a running back in the NFL last season, had one year remaining on the original deal he signed with San Diego in March of 2013. "Danny is an integral part of our offense," said Chargers general manager Tom Telesco. "His work ethic and on-field production were key elements last year. We look forward to having him be a part of the Chargers organization into the future." Woodhead spent three seasons with New England prior to joining the Chargers and was a member of the Patriots 2011 AFC Championship team. He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets in 2009. For his career, Woodhead has compiled 1,692 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 371 attempts and caught 176 passes for 1,674 yards with 10 scores. Cheap Wholesale Air Max .
