PC-Games & Internet » Should I get The Orange Box on Steam?

Hi,

I am a console gamer and no nothing about Steam other than it's free and you play PC games on it. TOB is currently only $1.99 and the only game I've ever played on is it Portal. Should I buy it for only $1.99? I checked my laptop and it will run it. Should I download steam and make an account buy it?
